NATO 7.62, also known as “308 Winchester,” is a spherical powder originally developed for use in military ammunition. Benchrest shooters and other target shooters did well with the handloader when it was first introduced. Numerous cartridges, including the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington, 17 Remington, 22 PPC, and 308 Winchester, work admirably with the BL-C. (2) Container sizes range from 1 to 8 pounds.
BL-C (2) is a round powder that was first used by the military in the 7.62 NATO, but it is clear that it can also be used in the 308 Winchester.
Early adopters of the handloader included target shooters, particularly those who used it for benchrest. Cartridges like the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington, 17 Remington, 22 PPC, and many others work very well in the BL-C.
