So the only thing left to purchase is the easy access shellplate, reloading dies, appropriate case feeder plate, bullet feeder die, and any additional die bushings you’ll need.
Notes:
The modern shellplates are compatible with the EZ-ject system. The EZ-ject system is not compatible with older versions of shellplates. Flipping a shellplate over and inspecting the underside for a circular groove can reveal whether or not it needs replacing. Even if there isn’t a groove already there, Hornady can make your existing shellplates compatible with the EZ-ject system.
Hints from Hornady Before using the press, make sure to spray all metal components with Hornady One Shot Gun Cleaner-Degreaser and Dry Lubricant (separately sold item # 270-323).
Hornady says to use One Shot Gun Cleaner-Degreaser and Dry Lubricant to clean the powder measure. This will get rid of any oils that could get into the powder.
